We decided a few weeks ago that we would support local restaurants by ordering in or picking up once a week. The challenge then became finding which restaurants (and other local boutiquey foodstuffs... think ice cream and pie 🤤) are doing this.
We also want to make sure we are being cognizant of two things:
1 - We are supporting local - even if it's a franchise. For example, the A&W in Auburn Bay is locally owned and operated. The owners are a HUGE support in our community.
2 - We are not ordering through third-party delivery services. We are healthy and able to go out and pick our order up, the fees that restaurants are paying for services like Door Dash and Skip the Dishes are crazy.
So without further ado here is a list of my top picks (close by me, so it don't get darn cold by the time I get it in my mouth) of restaurants open for curbside pickup plus a link at the bottom to the full city-wide list.
